Question
Why doesn't
my Uplift Seat Assist go down when
I sit on it?
Answer
There
could be a few reasons why your Uplift
Seat Assist doesn't go down when you
sit on it:
- You may not be sitting back far
enough on the cushion. Sit on
the flat part at the top of the
cushion, and straighten your sitting
position. If you perch on
the slanted part of the cushion
your weight is not distributed
properfly for the cushion to go
down.
- The gas spring may be stiff from
sitting in the box too long, and
you need to prime it to get it
moving. To do this, put the lift
mechanism into the lowest weight
setting. Sit on the Seat Assist
several times until it moves freely.
Now set it at your correct weight
range, and try again.
- You may have set the weight setting
too high. Check again. The weight
settings are merely guidelines
to help you decide where to start.
Some people need to set the weight
one notch lower, and some find
they get a stonger lift by setting
the lift mechanism in the groove
just above their weight range.
Experiment to find what's best
for you.
Question
I lost one of
my power levers for my Power Seat.
What do I do?
Answer
The
Uplift Power Seat comes with two levers
for your convenience. However, only
one lever is required to operate it.
If you have lost a power
lever, simply put the remaining lever
on the side you like to use (left
or right side) and your Power Seat
will operate just fine. If at anytime
you wish to purchase additional levers,
simply give us a call.
